Import your Magic: The Gathering collection
SpellControl imports a collection from any popular tracking tool. Paste your export or drop the file — the format is auto-detected, so you never pick one from a menu. Importing is free and needs no account: your cards stay on your device unless you sign in to sync them across devices.
Guides by source
-
ManaBox
CSV or TSV export. The Scryfall ID column pins every card to its exact printing, and your ManaBox binder names come along.
-
Moxfield
Collection CSV export. Edition and collector number resolve exact printings; condition, language, foil, and purchase price are kept.
-
Archidekt
Collection CSV export with condition codes, finish, language, and price.
-
Deckbox
Inventory CSV export. Wishlist-only rows are skipped, owned copies come through.
-
MTG Arena & text lists
Arena deck exports, EDHREC/Moxfield deck lists, or a plain list of card names — one card per line.
-
Any CSV or spreadsheet
TCGplayer, Cardsphere, or your own spreadsheet — any file with a Name column imports.
What every import keeps
SpellControl reads whatever your file provides:
- Exact printing — via a Scryfall ID when the export has one, otherwise name + set + collector number.
- Quantity per card.
- Finish — nonfoil, foil, or etched.
- Condition and language per copy, normalized across tools (NM, Near Mint, and Mint all land in the same bucket).
- Purchase price, kept on the card.
- Binder or folder name from the source tool, kept as each card's source category.
After import, cards file themselves into rule-based binders — sorted by color, type, set, price, tags, or any rules you define.
